Art & Design Mad Libsare an experiment in filling-in-the blank. These Mad Libs contain partial definitions of the words “art” and “design” and were inserted inside dictionaries in the RISD library. There, unsuspecting library patrons could complete the definitions. The absurdity of the Mad Lib-like format allows for personal opinions to become public. It is my opinion that the Art and Design debate, a popular topic at RISD, is ridiculous, and this is manifested in the resulting new definitions.
